Signs of Guidance

 This morning I had the felt experience of what I describe as ‘At Oneness’. While walking Comet, all of a sudden I was in a realm of hypersensitivity to my environment, the light through the leaves, the sound of a bird call, the pulsing green colors, all the details of the hillside, the garage door I was passing, the trees…on and on. It was a full body experience, was delicious and extra-ordinary!

I thought about a couple of messages, from different sources, that I received yesterday.

One message came from a book, “Eat, Pray,Love” by Elizabeth Gilbert: “Happiness is the consequence of personal effort….You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings.” This struck me for two reasons. One, I hadn’t given myself the time to read a pure-pleasure book for many weeks (telling myself that I had other more important things to do..as if denial of pleasure or infliction of punishment creates change…not). Yesterday I gave myself the gift of lying in the late afternoon sun in my yard and reading for the pure pleasure of it…and here was that passage. OK…. 

This was in direct support of what I had heard that very morning from Rev. Michael Beckwith at Agape:paraphrasing here…that it’s not about waiting to participate (in life, in joy)…express joy now…practice holding that vibration until the world bends to it…living life anew each day and recognizing what is revealed each day…as an adventure of discovery…everywhere, all the time. 

Absolutely thrilling…really. It’s like the felt sense of recognition of the world as living breathing whole of which I am a part…a participating part.
