Signs of Guidance

When I was walking this morning, I was thinking about the world and my profound love for it, I was thinking about how magical and abundant it is. Everywhere I looked there was life looking back at me. The wind, clouds, ocean, birds, flowers, brush, sand, kelp, people, dogs: all sharing this beautiful space together.

I was also struck yesterday at a gift store in Big Sur. A stand with some stuffed-toy birds caught my eye and I started playing with them, squeezing them and listening to the different bird calls. It attracted a woman and her little boy, who was fascinated as was she. It made me so happy when she bought him one as I had been thinking so much about birds recently and how they often get overlooked.
